Beth Boyd
A seasoned professional in both higher education administration and private enterprise, Beth has held various roles at institutions such as The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, Lycoming College, and The University of the South as well as companies such as Fidelity National Financial and Regency Centers. Her responsibilities have spanned fundraising, alumni engagement, executive leadership, management, trustee relations, and organizing significant events like Convocations and Commencements.
Beth’s involvement extends beyond academia, serving as a trustee of the American Football Coaches Wives Association and even leading as its president. Her community engagement includes participation in the Greenwood Rotary Club and the Junior Leagues of Tampa and Orlando, where she chaired the Footsteps to Success program for the Junior League of Orlando.
Bob Bragg
Bob Bragg stands as veteran development professional with an impressive three-decade track record in various sectors, including higher education, medical research, engineering education, athletics, and the arts. His extensive experience spans roles at prominent institutions such as Virginia Tech, West Virginia University, Florida State University, East Carolina University, University of Virginia’s College at Wise, and the William King Museum of Art.
Throughout his career, Bob has excelled in program management, contributing to the success of fundraising initiatives, alumni relations, public relations, marketing, grants, and foundation management. Notably, he has directed annual fund programs for four universities, securing millions of dollars for academic programs and consistently expanding the donor base at each institution.
While at West Virginia University, Bob played a pivotal role in leading two campaigns that collectively raised $180 million for the Benjamin Statler College of Engineering and the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute.
As Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer of the UVA-Wise Foundation, Bob held a significant position as a member of the Virginia Council of Foundation Presidents, underscoring his commitment to advancing the mission of educational foundations in the region.
